ACCESSIBILITY
The region’s central location along the 2000 mile border has made El Paso a natural transportation hub, with international rail service provided by Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway (BNSF), Union Pacific and Ferromex. Interstate access (I-10) connects our region to California and Florida, and to the Rocky Mountain states all the way to the Canadian border. You’ll also find two international airports and five international border crossings connecting the U.S. to México.
Highway/Interstate
- Interstate 10, which extends between Jacksonville, Florida, and Los Angeles, California, is the primary highway access to the region.
- Interstate 25 connects with Interstate 10 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, providing access to northern New Mexico, central Colorado and eastern Wyoming.
El Paso International Airport (EPIA)
- 128 daily passenger flights to and from El Paso
