DCL - the fastest way to move business between nations
With the inception of the Dedicated Commuter Lane (DCL), El Paso has pioneered the way commuters travel to and from México. Thirty thousand people enjoy the benefits of the DCL. It enables motorists to commute across the border into the United States in minutes.
- Highly Efficient — Maximum wait times range from three to 15 minutes during rush-hour traffic. The system allows for more traffic to cross through the DCL in one hour than all other lanes combined.
- Low Risk — Acceptance for a DCL permit requires the applicant to go through a preselection process, in which a thorough background check is required*. This ensures that only qualified applicants utilize the DCL and keeps wait times to a minimum.
For more information on enrollment in this program, call 915-872-3472.
